I am the oldest of six children and grew up in a happy, fun home. I remember much laughter in my home and have memories of a busy, full life. Our summers were full of job charts, excursions, picnics in the canyon, reading, and lots of playing outside. I learned to cook, clean, care for children, and create from my Mom. My dad taught me to change a bike tire, love the outdoors, serve others, and cook in a dutch oven. My parents and siblings are some of my best friends and I enjoy a very close relationship with each them.
I have played the piano for years and enjoy music very much. I have accompanied various choirs through high school and college and taught piano lessons for many years.
After high school I moved away to college and enjoyed years of fun! I went to Russia and China as a volunteer English teacher and administrator. I learned to love the people and the cultures. I served an LDS Mission in Sydney, Australia and loved the land, the people, and the work that I did. And…somehow through all of my playing I completed a degree in Elementary Education. I taught 6th and 8th grade English and Health before becoming a mother. Motherhood has by far been the most difficult, but most rewarding job I have ever had! I enjoy cooking, reading, sewing, talking, lots of outdoor activities, and having a good time.
My brother got married recently and had a beautiful garden reception.
We live near some fabulous huckleberry picking mountains.
I have many memories of friends across the world.
